This crystal water pitcher is made from fine, mouth-blown muslin glass. It is part of Lobmeyr's "Alpha" series, designed in 1952 and inspired by a baroque copper cup on display at the MAK Vienna.
It accompanies the “Alpha" crystal water tumblers, which are stackable and designed to fit perfectly into the user's hand.Â
In 1964 the series was awarded the German National Design Prize "Gute Form".
Crystal Care:
We recommend carefully hand washing your Lobmeyr pieces in lukewarm water with a small amount of detergent and a soft sponge. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly to avoid any residue and dry gently with a soft cotton or linen tea towel.
