As seen in the FT How to Spend it's Smart Arts issue, we've launched an artist collaboration devoted to the late American abstract painter and sculptor Jack Whitten. Whitten was renowned for his innovative processes of applying paint to the surface of his canvases and transfiguring their material terrains; five of his acrylic and mixed media works inspire the capsule collection.
The range is formed of seven limited edition pieces, including double-sided silk schappe pocket squares, large silk twill squares and cotton silk-blend crinkle scarves. Each piece is printed and hand-finished in our historic mills in Como, Italy, home of world-class, luxury printing and the finest manufacturing traditions.
