MARIAGE FRÈRES

The first Mariage Frères Maison de Thé opened in Paris in 1854, with the Mariage family's connection to the tea trade dating back to 1660. As the leading French importer of tea, Mariage Frères supplied the best houses, the finest delicatessens and tearooms and the most renowned hotels. The ART DÉCO 1930 teapot is a specially reissued museum piece inspired by Le Corbusier. Over the years it has become an icon of Mariage Frères tearooms. A decorative object as well as a functional piece, it comes in two sizes and in a set with matching sugar bowl and milk jug. Read more in Stories
