Style Notes

The L’Atelier du Vin x FELCO tool pouch was made to accompany enthusiasts of the French art de vivre on all their poetic and artistic strolls. The pouch elegantly displays essential tools of both wine and garden - an invitation to wander down vineyard alleys and into tranquil garden groves.

The Bilame twin blade corkscrew (designed in 1949), extracts and leaves the cork intact, even those which are old and fragile. The cork is not pierced, and thus does not crumble. As the legend goes, the Bilame was the favourite tool of waiters in French bistrots. Thanks to it, they could take a few sips from bottles and then replace corks without anyone noticing.

How to use it?
1. Slide the two blades down either side of the cork, starting with the longer one.
2. Press down, while moving the bottle opener back and forth, to insert each blade as far as possible.
3. Pull and rotate the handle to extract the cork from the neck.

In 1948, FELCO launched a pruning shear that would change the landscape of pruning tools forever. The iconic design of the FELCO 2 makes it an ideal tool for all pruning tasks, for both professional and private users. Since then, it has embodied the know-how, quality and precision of the Swiss company. Swiss-made, reliable and durable, these pruning hears are handed down from generation to generation.

How to use it?
1. Sharpen your blade with the flat face of the FELCO 903, using light circular movements.
2. Remove the burr from the back of the blade and sharpen it, to allow perfect crossing of the cutting head.

These two iconic tools are presented together in an impeccably crafted leather pouch, designed to hang from your belt, or off the vine. Made from long-lasting vegetable tanned full-grain leather of the finest quality fatto a mano in Italia. Its natural and timeless vine-inspired colour serves only to enhance the steel wine and gardening tools, as well as the golden gleam of the metal eyelets that adorn the leather fasteners.

The Vine to Garden collection was designed by stylist Margherita Matticari and the L’Atelier du Vin studio with the promise of a “châteaux life” that ages like a fine vintage. A stroll across the garden and across time.

Conscious Craftsmanship
Since 1926, L'Atelier du Vin has been preserving the art of enjoying fine wine the French way - from the vineyard, to the cellar, to the table.

Their exceptional wine tools are designed and shaped in their Hauts-de-France workshops, nestled in the heart of a region where industry meets with artisanal craftsmanship. Each new innovation is the result of expertise passed down through the generations.

The recognizable design of L’Atelier du Vin’s instruments comes through in the sustainable materials used throughout their creation. Pure and without artifice, each noble material is carefully shaped to bring out the best of its qualities in a final form that balances function and pleasure.
