This oversized cushion cover has been made from authentic Kuba cloth, a hand-woven textile made from raffia palm by the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Traditionally the large raffia patches are woven by the men and then hand-appliquéd onto the cloth by the women, creating bold, geometric designs.
Each Kuba cloth is made by hand and is an entirely unique work of art. The fabrics have lived a life and the wear and markings only add to their character.
The cushion cover has been made with a zip closure and sturdy linen back.
