Designed by Gaetano Pesce in 1995, the Indian Summer Vase is formed from a soft resin. A clear aqua vessel is suspended in place by matt pink resin, which snakes and loops around it, creating an abstract base.

Pesce pioneered the use of resin to create design objects and in 2003 he met artisan and entrepreneur Andrea Corsi and shared his designs (under the name Fish Design) with him, entrusting him to continue and improve the production. Since then, all Fish Design pieces have been made in Italy, in Andrea Corsi’s lab.

Made by hand, this item is truly unique and slight variations in colour, size, and shape give this joyous design its distinctive character.
