The holiday season is in full swing and with December 25th fast approaching, London has seen its annual transformation into a festive winter wonderland. From Christmas markets and pop-up ice rinks to seasonal restaurant menus and breathtaking hotel decorations, there's something for everyone this month. A short walk down Mount Street sees all facades alight with decorations, from decadent opulence to the all out kitsch-mas.
Somerset House is once again transformed into an ice rink, complete with Fortnum & Mason shopping arcade. By night it's worth checking out Tracey Emin's neon-adorned tree for The Connuaught Hotel, as well as the lights of The Tate Britain, designed by artist Alan Kane.
