The PIEMONTE CASHMERE COLLECTION is created in Biella, northwest Italy. Known as the ‘Wool City’ since 1245, it is the historic home of the best wool mills in Italy, and where the highest quality woven fabrics are produced. Biella is located in the foothills of the Alps, surrounded by natural streams and lakes where wool has been washed in its famed soft mountain waters for centuries. The richness of the pastures led sheep farmers to move to the area which initiated the establishment of the wool industry in the city. The finest woven fabrics are created by skilled family artisans that have practiced their trade here over centuries.
To ensure your scarves remain in the best condition, we recommend that you store them flat and untied in a dry place.
We recommend dry cleaning this item for optimum colour longevity and to preserve the delicate nature of the natural fibres and hand-finishes.
If hand-washing, we suggest using a specialist detergent and gently massaging the item in lukewarm water. Dry flat and avoid wringing out.
